Meet our Founder - Marissa

"I found my way into healthcare revenue cycle work almost by accident — a friend posted “my job is hiring,” I applied, having no experience, and quickly realized I had discovered something I was genuinely good at and truly loved. Revenue cycle became its own language to me, one I learned how to speak fluently and, more importantly, how to translate for others. Helping providers and patients understand an often-confusing system is where I thrive.

Over the course of my career, I saw too much behind-the-scenes behavior that didn’t sit right with me — greed, manipulation, hidden mistakes, and workable accounts written off simply because they “messed with the numbers.” I knew there had to be a better, more ethical way to do this work, one rooted in honesty, accountability, and respect for the people whose livelihoods depend on it.

This is why I’m most drawn to working with small practices and individual providers. These clinics are doing meaningful work for their patients, and they deserve a billing partner who is just as invested in their success. I do what I love so they can do what they love — and when our goals align, everyone benefits.

I bring over 10 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a strong focus on behavioral health, along with extensive experience in Critical Access Hospitals (CAH), Rural Health Clinics (RHC), OB/GYN, and family practice settings. I genuinely enjoy the problem-solving side of this work — whether it’s untangling a complex insurance issue, finally getting a hard-fought claim paid, or helping a patient resolve a billing issue that’s been hanging over them for months.

At the core of everything I do are honesty and transparency. It’s your clinic, and you deserve to know exactly what’s happening with it at all times. I aim to build long-term relationships with my clients that go beyond transactions — lasting professional partnerships where trust, communication, and even a little humor are part of the process. When clients trust me with their revenue, I take that responsibility seriously."
